The highlight is the sacred Acropolis, where timeless monuments like the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike stand as enduring symbols of classical grandeur.
Leaving Athens behind, journey across the Peloponnese to explore Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, with its Cyclopean walls and the famous Lion Gate. Continue to Epidaurus, home to the magnificent ancient theatre renowned for its perfect acoustics, before arriving in Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Here, you’ll walk among the ruins of the Temple of Zeus and the original Olympic Stadium, where athletes once competed in honor of the gods.
Travel north through stunning landscapes to Delphi, the spiritual center of the ancient world. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, Delphi was home to the oracle of Apollo, where priestesses once delivered divine prophecies. Explore the archaeological site and museum, housing masterpieces like the Charioteer of Delphi and the Sphinx of Naxos.
Continue to Kalambaka, gateway to the awe-inspiring Meteora Monasteries, perched atop towering rock pillars. Dating back to the 14th century, these monasteries remain one of the most remarkable monuments of Orthodox Christianity. After visiting two of these architectural marvels, return to Athens, stopping at Thermopylae to see the monument of Leonidas and his 300 Spartans.
Spend your final day in Athens at leisure, exploring its museums, shopping districts, and charming neighborhoods such as Plaka and Monastiraki, before your departure.

Detailed Schedule of the 8-Day Tour
Day 1: Arrival in Athens
Upon your arrival at Athens Airport, our driver will greet you and escort you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore at your own pace.
Accommodation in Athens.
Athens, named after Athena, the goddess who sprang from the head of Zeus, intertwines its history with that of Greece. As the capital of the country, it serves as the epicenter of economic, political, and cultural life. A cradle of esteemed artists and philosophers of antiquity, it has played a pivotal role in the development of democracy. With a history spanning over 3,000 years, it has profoundly influenced the evolution of Western culture. This cosmopolitan city is a mosaic of diverse cultures that have left their mark throughout history. Consequently, Athens’ magnificent monumental wealth has rendered it an enticing destination that captures the attention of thousands of visitors from around the globe.
Day 2: Athens - Half-Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time, we will embark on a city tour. The journey begins with a brief stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first Modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Following this, you will enjoy a panoramic tour that includes the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Panepistimiou Avenue, where you can admire Schliemann’s residence, the University of Athens, the National Library, and the Academy. After passing the Temple of Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian, we will arrive at the sacred hill of the Greeks: the Acropolis, with its impressive monuments, including the majestic Propylaea, the iconic Parthenon, the Erechtheion with its famous Caryatids, and the recently restored Temple of Athena Nike.
Upon conclusion of the visit, we will return to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for personal activities.

Day 3: Athens/Olympia
Breakfast at the hotel and departure with your luggage at the appointed time, heading towards the Corinth Canal for a brief stop. We will continue to Mycenae, the birthplace of Mycenaean civilization, which began to develop around 1600 BC. At the archaeological site, you can admire the imposing Cyclopean walls, the Lion Gate, various tombs of ancient kings, the Palace, the Crypt with its 99 steps underground, as well as the tombs of Aegisthus and Clytemnestra. Close to the Acropolis of Mycenae lies one of the greatest architectural testaments of this civilization: the tomb of Agamemnon, or the Atreides.
After a leisurely lunch, we shall proceed to the Epidaurus Theatre, renowned for its impeccable and unmatched acoustics. Designed by Polykleitos in the 4th century BC, it has a capacity of 14,000 spectators. In the same area, we will visit the Sanctuary of Asclepius, the son of Apollo and god of medicine, whose symbol was the serpent. The museum features, among other wonders, the stelae with healing recipes and surgical instruments.
In the afternoon, we will traverse Central Peloponnese towards the picturesque village of Olympia. Arrival and dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Olympia/Delphi
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at the scheduled time to visit the archaeological site of Olympia, one of the most significant sanctuaries of antiquity where the Olympic Games, which continue to this day, were held. The Olympics symbolized the unity of the city-states and the inhabitants of Greece, as well as establishing peace and the most respected of truces. In an idyllic setting, surrounded by a magnificent pine forest, we will visit the Palestra, the Gymnasium, the workshop of Phidias, the Leonidion, the Sanctuary, the Temple of Zeus, and the Philippeion, among others. We will also explore the Olympic Stadium and the stands, where various competitions were held, such as chariot races and the pentathlon, which later evolved into the decathlon.
Upon completion of the visit, we will head towards Patras, crossing from the Peloponnese to Central Greece via the majestic Rio-Antirio Bridge, en route to the city of Delphi, located on Mount Parnassus, where the most sacred of oracles can be found. Arrival in Delphi. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Delphi/Kalambaka
Breakfast at the hotel and departure with your luggage for the visit to the museum and archaeological site of Delphi, located amidst a beautiful carpet of olive trees that stretch towards the sea. This site holds immense significance in the history of Greece and is considered the center of the world, where the two eagles released by Zeus from the ends of the earth converged. Delphi is renowned for its oracle and the prophecies of the Pythia, as well as its Panhellenic Games. In the archaeological site, we will visit the temples and the Treasures of the City-States, which displayed the finest works of art from each state. In the museum, we will have the opportunity to admire the Naxian Sphinx, the pediments of the Temple of Apollo, and numerous artifacts, such as friezes and metopes, as well as the most exquisite sculptures, including that of Antinous and the Charioteer of Delphi.
After our visit, we will depart for the town of Kalambaka, home to the impressive Monasteries of Meteora. Arrival in Kalambaka and dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Kalambaka/Athens
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to visit two of the monasteries in Meteora. Rising magically above the vast plains of Thessaly, the breathtaking rock formations of Meteora stand tall with their dark and narrow vertical cliffs. On some of these astonishing structures are the monasteries that remained virtually inaccessible until a few years ago. Their construction began in the 14th century and was completed by the 16th century, culminating in a total of up to twenty monasteries. Within these sanctuaries lie true treasures of Orthodox Christianity. Absolute silence is required within, and women are advised against wearing revealing clothing, while men are prohibited from donning shorts. Currently, six monasteries are operational: St. Nicholas, St. Stephen, the Holy Trinity, Great Meteoron, Rousanou, and Varlaam.
Upon completing the visits, we will head towards Athens, making a stop at Thermopylae, where the monument to Leonidas, the king of the 300 Spartans who fell in the famous battle against the Persians, is located. Arrival in Athens at approximately 7:30 PM.

Day 7: Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is free for personal activities. During your stay, you may visit fascinating museums such as the Acropolis Museum or the National Archaeological Museum. Later, we suggest a stroll through the picturesque neighborhoods of Plaka, Monastiraki, or Psiri. In the afternoon, you may shop in the stores on Ermou Street or in the Kolonaki area. As night falls, we recommend enjoying a drink at one of the bars in the city center or indulging in exquisite Greek cuisine at a traditional tavern, with views of the Acropolis or the historical monuments.

Day 8: Departure from Athens
Breakfast at the hotel. At the designated time, depending on the departure of your international flight, you will be transferred to the airport.

- If any transfers are nocturnal (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM), the additional cost is €15 per transfer
- The transfer service includes, per passenger, one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. If this number of pieces exceeds, and the luggage cannot fit in the vehicle, there will be an additional cost for transferring extra luggage of €45.
